Description

My name is Gabriel Masupat and I'm from the Philippines. I am proud to say that I have been working in the BPO world for the past 5 years now. Admittedly, I hadn't heard much about BPO (or Business Process Outsourcing) when I started out. Basically, BPO is a way to outsource certain menial tasks from traditional service models. I worked in customer service, communication, and sales, among other things. It was quite an eye-opening experience for me, and it has allowed me to develop the skills needed to be successful in the ever-changing business environment. At first, I was overwhelmed by the amount of technical knowledge I needed to acquire in order to understand the various processes. I quickly realized that in order to succeed, I had to be proactive and agile. I learned how to use cloud computing to improve customer satisfaction levels, how to develop automated solutions to streamline activities, and how to use Big Data to mine data and gain insights. Overall, my experiences with BPO have been positive. I have developed my technical skills, learned how to cope in a fast-paced business environment, and gained a better understanding of the importance of customer relations. Moreover, I have become more efficient and competitive, through the learning of advanced practices in the business world. I believe that BPO is here to stay and that it will further evolve as our business landscape changes. Therefore, I look forward to continuing to expand my knowledge and hone my skills within this dynamic sector.
